The notes for this blog
The journals were initially done by the group. We modified the journals to make our own individually. All the original paper work are stored in the hand phone of each of members in the group.
GAME DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY Week8: Puzzle Game
Introduction:
Map:
- The puzzle game of our group is designed to be combination of totally 6 puzzles. The main character is trying to break out the prison, and he has to deal with all the puzzles one by one.
Puzzles:
The first puzzle was designed by me. The idea is, this is the first scene and the character has to find out that the shape of the lock is actually a spider beside the wall.
The pipe puzzle was also designed by me, the player has to rotate each of the pipes to make a route going through the 4 × 4 map, the total number of chances for rotating is 9.

The map shows the overall process the player has to go through.

- The game was designed to be a territory acquisition game. The hero starts from the island 1, and break through one by one to rescue his partner. Each of the characters has its own stats and skills.
Background:
- This Game is a story of Prince Janesis of the five kingdoms from the landmass of Navarre. The landmass of Navarre, comprised of five kingdoms in particular, Ancient Carthage, Caliphate, Cayer, Nottingham and Janjero. The sovereign, King Ruther, respectable father of Prince Janesis ruled these kingdoms, from Janjero. The Prince after turning 16, was sent on a voyage to find the privileged insights of life toughening him, to make him deserving of getting to be beneficiary to the throne.The Prince should return back to Navarre, following 3 years of voyage. Much to his dismay that his farewell would be the last to his father, before everything changed.
- The Loyal pastor of the King, Edward Riviello, son to the former Pastor, Stark Riviello, to the lord, ended up being the accurate reverse of what devotion implied. He was destined to be a child of Satan, conceived on sixth of June, being the 6th of his era. He was settled upon by the Evil that, the only way he stayed eternal was by bolstering upon human blood. Awful for Edward, the ruler came to think about his actual personality. Taking this into account, it was not late when Edward acknowledged the time had come to guarantee the throne, which he was fruitful in.
- 3 years passed by, with the populace of Navarre was living in terror rule of the malevolent priest, who was currently known as the King Dracula. There's no doubt about Janesis, being dumbfounded to see his domain in a debacle. His just surge is to claim his legitimacy to the throne, by wiping out King Dracula.
- Also, as constantly said, 'Truth only Triumphs, Good over the Evil', our Hero is not the only one in the journey. He has five companions, who were constantly faithful to his family. Its time to protect them from King Dracula's evil prison captivity, and notice their bolster, stowing away in the little town of Navarre, which is situated in the middle, encompassed by the five grounds.

GAME DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY Week7: Room Dungeon
Introduction:
- This week workshop, we were making the quest for our own M20 Character. The quest will be consisted of 5 room dungeon with challenge in each room. So our quest were like this :
Room 1:
- As a reward to save a big flying animal quest in the middle of the jungle, the animal that was rescued will bring the player to the dungeon entrance which was located high above the cloud. Once they got there, there will be a door with 2 pattern attached that head to the next room.
Room 2:
- Room 2 will full of black and white box. The players need to go through the room by stepping on the box according to the pattern. They can choose the pattern randomly from the 2 pattern that they found in Room 1. One pattern will lead to Room 3 and the other will lead to Room 4.
Room 3 :
- Once the player step into the Room 3, the door will be shut down. The player will be trapped with the room’s wall getting smaller and smaller. And then, the floor in which the player step into will break and the player will be falling to the Room 1.
Room 4 :
- This is a monster room where there will be many small monster around surrounding one big sleeping monster in the middle. The character need to defeat many small monster to wake up the big monster. The big monster will be the Mother of the Dragon, and the small monster will be the Child of the Dragon. Once the player defeat the Dragon, a drop item of legendary weapon will appear.
Room 5 :
- This is a reward room, where there will be treasure box in the middle of the room that contains gold, map, and key to go out of the room.

GAME DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY Week4: Black-Jump Board Game
Introduction:
Action:
- The game is based on chess,we made few changes to make it a new game which is Black-Jump Board Game.
Action:
- Black and White game board 8×8 squares.
- 2 players characters representing player A(purple colour) and player B (red colour) with circle character in the front row and rectangle character in the back row.
Rules:
- Choose the player character first
- Play rock/paper/scissor to determine the first turn.
- For the first round, both circle & rectangle characters can jump only on black square whereas circle can jump only 1 step ahead and rectangle can jump 2 steps ahead.
- If you face with the enemy, you can eat if you have chances.
- If you reach to the other edge of the side, but the enemy is still left, you can make a U-turn after gain 1 strike on the character.
- The strike character whether circle or rectangle , can now jump both on white and black squares with any steps.
- The one who eats all enemy first will win the board game.
