GAME DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY Week7: Room Dungeon

Introduction:
  • This week workshop, we were making the quest for our own M20 Character. The quest will be consisted of 5 room dungeon with challenge in each room. So our quest were like this :

Room 1:
  • As a reward to save a big flying animal quest in the middle of the jungle, the animal that was rescued will bring the player to the dungeon entrance which was located high above the cloud. Once they got there, there will be a door with 2 pattern attached that head to the next room.
Room 2:
  • Room 2 will full of black and white box. The players need to go through the room by stepping on the box according to the pattern. They can choose the pattern randomly from the 2 pattern that they found in Room 1. One pattern will lead to Room 3 and the other will lead to Room 4.
Room 3 :
  • Once the player step into the Room 3, the door will be shut down. The player will be trapped with the room’s wall getting smaller and smaller. And then, the floor in which the player step into will break and the player will be falling to the Room 1.
Room 4 :
  • This is a monster room where there will be many small monster around surrounding one big sleeping monster in the middle. The character need to defeat many small monster to wake up the big monster. The big monster will be the Mother of the Dragon, and the small monster will be the Child of the Dragon. Once the player defeat the Dragon, a drop item of legendary weapon will appear.
Room 5 :
  • This is a reward room, where there will be treasure box in the middle of the room that contains gold, map, and key to go out of the room.
